How this started...

I didn’t set out to start a networking group, I want to create fulfilling connections.

Years ago, I was just a new mom trying to find connection. I remember saying yes to a $600 pest control package from a door-to-door salesperson—not because I needed it, but because I was craving interaction, conversation… something.

What came next surprised me.

Through small, intentional efforts, I found other women in the same season of life. Those connections turned into real friendships—ones that have lasted years.

At the time, I didn’t think of it as a “skill.” I was just showing up, reaching out, and building relationships.

But when I returned to the workforce, I saw it clearly.

Connecting people—really connecting them—is something I naturally do. And more importantly, it creates value—not just socially, but professionally.

That’s what Southwest Austin Connectors is built on.

Not transactions. Not surface-level networking.

But intentional connections that actually mean something—and lead somewhere.

Because the right connection, at the right time, can change everything.

Our Mission

Southwest Austin Connectors exists to create a space where people can show up as they are, build authentic relationships, and support one another professionally.

Our Vision

To become the go-to networking hub for Southwest Austin—where connections turn into collaborations, friendships, and opportunities.

Why We Started

After years of working, parenting, and building lives in this community, it became clear that Southwest Austin needed something more intentional—a way to bring people together locally without the formality or friction of traditional networking groups.

This is that space.
